FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -- EPIRB's McMurdo Fastfind: new batteries and GPS upgrade
Many of you have the McMurdo EPIRBs that were distributed about 5 years ago. It is time to replace the batteries. Unfortunately we don't have the funds for the Small Boat Program to replace them for you. Please recycle the old batteries properly.

This is the only company which (I could find that) carries these McMurdo fastfind plus replacement batteries. McMurdo (Revere Supply) still offers those GPS upgrades for free.
These are 5 year lithium batteries. There is an additional charge for Revere Supply to replace the batteries, however, you can replace these batteries yourself with a torque screw driver.
