NOAA BOAT IDENTIFICATION RESOURCES AND GUIDELINES

The following links are intended to provide guidance and resources to field activities in order to promote a uniform and easily recognizeable marking scheme for NOAA boats.

• Hull Registration - This form can be filled out online, printed, and faxed to the Small Boat Program Manager to receive a NOAA Hull Registration for your boat. The form cannot be submitted on-line at this time. Fax 206-553-1109
• Drawings 1.0 through 4.0 - Sample hull markings for several common small boat hull designs.
• Does your boat have a registration number already? Help update or verify the inventory by looking for your boat here (PDF file). If it isn't listed, or the information is not correct, contact the NOAA Small Boat Coordinator to make changes.
