Boat Inventory

The NOAA Small Boat Program master inventory of NOAA boats (Excel format) is continuously updated and posted on a regular basis. Please notify the NOAA Small Boat Safety Program Coordinator of any errors, changes, or omissions particularly with regard to boats that no longer exist in the master inventory, or are not listed but have a hull reigstration number.

If your vessel is not listed in the appropriate inventory (check the Small Research Vessel inventory too!) fill out and submit a Hull Registration Application form. The information about how to register can be found at the Hull Registration page. The hull registration number is your confirmation that your motorboat or SRV has been added to the inventory records.

NOTE: All craft, i.e., kayaks, canoes, inflatables, rafts, barges, etc., must have a NOAA hull registration number.
